Whatever Columbus did, he had his intentions. Quote from Sylvia Plath, "I can never be all the people I want and live all the lives I want ... And why do I want? I want to live and feel all the shades, tones and variations of mental and physical experience possible in life." Columbus is being judged like the iceberg that wrecked the Titanic. I agree, from the current evidence, Columbus does sound evil, but what about all the information you are not able to get your hands on? I don't know, but all I know is, be thankful for whatever because at one point, it will/has serve(d) a purpose.
