Twin Lakes

So yesterday, my family and I went to The New York Botanical Garden to take pictures. Started to rain ten minutes after we arrived. We stayed in the gift shop until the weather cleared. We were lucky because the rain left water droplets on the flowers, which made everything much more interesting to take pictures of. Just before my family and I left, we stopped by the Twin Lakes. We found a large family throwing rocks into the lake. One of the kids was getting on the mother's nerves, so she raised her hand up to slap the kid. Before the mother's hand connected with the boy's head, he slipped. The slap the mother was about to perform on the boy quickly turned into a snatch that saved him from getting wet and possibly, from drowning. To be honest, I thought it was hilarious. Happy Independence Day again!
